Sahanli Hope, Help and Heart

Welcome to Sahanli Initiative

Sahanli is a kindness-driven initiative founded by Yesandi to always help people in need. Providing hope, support, and assistance in various situations is the heart of Sahanli.

One of our current projects is the School Pack Project, where we provide essential educational supplies to children who cannot afford them. But Sahanli goes beyond this project — it aims to help people at all times, from education to disaster relief and community support.

Helping hands

Sahanli connects donors, volunteers, and community members to provide help where it’s most needed. Together, we can create meaningful change and ensure no one is left behind.

Our Motto

Hope, Help and Heart ♥

Sahanli stands on three powerful values:

  • Hope: Giving children and communities the confidence to dream and believe in a better tomorrow.
  • Help: Providing tangible support, whether it’s school packs, essentials, or assistance during disasters.
  • Heart: Acting with kindness, empathy, and dedication in every initiative we take.

Together, these values guide every action we take at Sahanli. With hope, help, and heart ♥, we strive to create meaningful change in the lives of those in need.

Meet the Founder

My name is Rajapurage Yesandi Bimansa Sahanli, a 14-year-old dedicated Scout and the founder of the Sahanli Initiative. I started Sahanli to provide continuous help to people in need, whether it’s educational support, disaster relief, or community assistance.

Through Sahanli, I believe that even small acts of kindness can create big change. We aim to empower individuals, support families, and improve communities by giving hope, help, and heart ♥.

"Even the smallest act of kindness can create ripples of change. Sahanli is built on hope, help, and heart — together, we can make a difference."

Sahanli is not limited to one project; it’s a lifelong initiative to help those in need across Sri Lanka.

Current Situation in Sri Lanka

Many areas in Sri Lanka face economic challenges, making it difficult for children to access basic educational supplies. Additionally, natural disasters, floods, and financial hardships have affected thousands of families.

Sahanli Initiative focuses on identifying these affected areas and providing timely support where it’s most needed.

By providing school packs and other assistance, Sahanli aims to give these children hope and a chance to thrive despite their challenges.
